Hong Kong Social Service Centre (HKSSC) (now known as Hong Kong Integrated Service Centre for Social Rehabilitation & Community Support – Hong Kong Revival Hub) In response to the needs of service, HKSSC provided casework and organised a wide range of group activities. “Run for Our Life”, “Fitness gym” and “Love & Sex” project were formed to promote positive life engagement and enhance a sense of belonging through healthy diet, sexual health and rehabilitation elements. Besides, 9 service users and staffs joined Yellow Ribbon Prison Run 2017 in Singapore and to visit the local facilities, in turn to gain an understanding on local rehabilitation and to widen their horizons, to review their life experience and to develop their new goals in the journey of rehabilitation. At the same time, a diversity of groups and programmes (Magician, Zentangle, Music and Football group) were organized in our centre to encourage service users to make different attempts in order to explore and develop their potentials, so that they could make use of their strengths and gain achievements. We aim at helping service users to achieve a healthy lifestyle and reduce recidivism. In addition, “Project HOPE” was a joint initiative with Hong Kong Police Force New Territories South Regional Crime Prevent Office in serving elderly arrestees in preventing recidivism and promoting positive lifestyle. 香港社會服務中心(現稱:香港社會康復及 支援綜合服務中心 – 港康匯) 香港社會服務中心致力推行多元化小組工作, 回應服務使用者的需要。「跑出我天地」、「操吧! 爆 Fit 男子組」小組及「醫情醫性」計劃,嘗試以健 康飲食及性健康結合復康元素,引導服務使用 者正向生活,亦增加服務使用者的歸屬感。另 外,由更生人士和職員組成的 9 人團隊,參加了 在新加坡舉行的 Yellow Ribbon Prison Run 2017 及探 訪當地更生康復設施,讓參加者一方面了解當 地更生康復的情況,另一方面體驗當地文化, 開拓眼界,他們在旅程中檢視自己人生,訂立 新目標重新出發。 與此同時,中心透過多元化活動如「心.魔魔術 組」、「禪繞畫工作坊」、「輕音樂小組」及「追夢足 球訓練班」等活動,鼓勵服務使用者作不同嘗 試,發揮他們的潛能,更讓他們取得成就,建 立良好的生活模式,減輕重犯機會。此外,香 港社會服務中心亦繼續與新界南總區防止罪案 科合作「耆望計劃」,支援年長被補人士,以增 加他們的正向生活減低重犯風險。 由更生人士和職員組成的 9 人團隊,參加了在 新加坡舉行的 Yellow Ribbon Prison Run 2017 。 9 service users and staffs joined Yellow Ribbon Prison Run 2017 in Singapore. 香港社會服務中心與新界南總區防止罪 案科合作「耆望計劃」。 “Project HOPE” was a joint initiative with Hong Kong Police Force New Territories South Regional Crime Prevention Office. | 39 |
