Kowloon South Social Service Centre (KSSSC) (now known as Kowloon West Integrated Service Centre for Social Rehabilitation & Community Support – Yau Ma Tei Revival Hub) KSSSC has been established for six years. Rehabilitation service was provided to ex-offenders resided in Yau Tsim Mong, To Kwa Wan and Hung Hom districts. Having built up close connection with the NGOs in the district, the Centre organised many joint programmes with other organisations to promote social inclusion. Moreover, we provided counselling and guidance services to the potential service users at the Methadone Clinics in Yau Ma Tei and Hung Hom through outreaching intervention mode. Last year, we continued to hold the “Men’s talk – Mutual Support Group”, which served the ex-offenders who were hepatitis C carriers or drug users. The group aimed at helping the members to enhance their self- image and health concerns, to increase knowledge on the prevention of blood-borne diseases and treatment of hepatitis, to establish peer support networks and to develop their potential in the community. The group members acted as role models and build up empathetic relationship with ex-offenders by outreach service, supporting them to live a healthy life. The centre also aimed to promote well-being through multifarious programmes. “Healthy Living Starts With Me” served the purpose to strengthen the health awareness of the service users. Ex-offender volunteers helped to deliver fruits to service users on a weekly basis. Other programme elements, for example, arrange nutritionist and Chinese medical practitioner to provide health talks. Over 3,000 participants were benefited from the programme. Furthermore, donors were invited to give donation for the programme that facilitated the beneficiaries to experience love and support from the community. Kowloon West Social Service Centre (KWSSC) (now known as Kowloon West Integrated Service Centre for Social Rehabilitation & Community Support – Sham Shui Po Revival Hub) KWSSC is dedicated to develop multifarious services, in order to address the changing social needs of service users. Our centre held a baby massage activity for young mother that aimed to facilitate parent-child relationship. In Lunar New Year, social workers visited our service users living in different subdivided and bedspace units in Sham Shui Po, Yam Ma Tei and Jordan. Most of them were hidden and lacking social support network and thus, they were invited to join our dinner to celebrate Lunar New Year. 九龍南社會服務中心（現稱：九龍西社會康 復及支援綜合服務中心 – 油康匯） 本中心已成立六年，為油尖旺、土瓜灣及紅磡 區內的更生人士提供康復服務。中心與區內各 服務單位建立良好地區網絡，亦與其他機構合 作舉辦不同類型活動，以達致社區共融。中心 亦安排社工外展到油麻地和紅磡一帶，主動與 服務對象接觸，表達關懷和提供輔導服務。 本中心繼續延續健康服務「浪子心聲 – 互助小 組」，服務對象為為受丙型肝炎影響或受毒品影 響之更生人士，透過小組活動協助他們建立朋 輩互助網絡和發展社群潛能。今年組員更走入 社區進行外展服務，以康復過來人的身分接觸 更多隱蔽的個案，幫助他們建立健康生活。另 外，本中心舉辦「健康生活由我做起 – 關注大行 動」，安排更生人士義工每星期為服務使用者派 發生果；活動目的是以派生果為介入手法，增強 服務使用者的健康意識。當中亦加入了不同的 活動元素，包括邀請營養師和中醫師講解健康 訊息。此活動共有 3,000 人次受惠；我們更邀請 到社會賢達捐款支持是項活動，讓受惠者感受 到人間有愛。另外，中心亦與香港扶輪社添馬 分社合辦活動，推廣健康訊息。 九龍西社會服務中心（現稱：九龍西社會康 復及支援綜合服務中心 – 深康匯） 九龍西社會服務中心致力拓展多元化及適時服 務，回應服務使用者不斷轉變的社會需要。本 中心同工特別為年青媽媽提供嬰兒按摩活動， 促進親子關係。在農曆年期間，中心走訪多個 位於深水埗、油麻地及佐敦的劏房床位戶，關 懷本會較為隱閉及缺乏社會支援網絡的服務對 象，並邀請他們一起出席聚餐慶祝新年。 參加烹飪比賽的會友忙 碌地烹煮健康菜式。 Service users were busily preparing their healthy dishes in the cooking competition. 會友及義工準備了一對對聯送贈予第一間甦屋業主周博士。 Both service user and volunteer prepared a couplet to Dr. Chau, the landlord of the first SOUK unit. | 41 |
