少數族裔戒毒康復支援服務 II Project CARE to SHARE – Community-based Treatment And Rehabilitation Support Service for Ethnic Minorities II Service Overview The Society has been providing continuous support to the ethnic minority (EM) communities to fight against drugs in the past decade. In 2017/2018, we secured the sponsorship from Beat Drugs Fund to provide another 3-year Community-based, one-stop and Cultural sensitive rehabilitation service. By adopting evidence-based approaches and health as the intervention focus, we aim at motivating and supporting drug abusers, rehabilitees and their family members to live with a drug-free and healthy lifestyle. In addition, in respond to cross generation drug abuse concern, Project CARE II strengthens support to the family members, particularly their children, by fostering their capacity and self-efficacy to prevent from drug abuse. Assessments were conducted by professional social workers.
