Jasper Tsang Yok Shing, GBM, GBS, JP, former President of Legislative Council, and Mr. Shieh Wing Tai, ex-Chairman of the Hong Kong Bar Association, were invited as the keynote speakers at the Youth Conference. 為與讀者分享成書過程及讓大家認識濫藥者的 康復歷程,「破繭天使 – 六個甦醒的新生命」新書 分享會暨「女性吸毒誘因及後果」調查發佈於二 零一七年十一月十二日假商務印書館尖沙咀圖 書中心展覧廳舉行,讀者擠滿會場,不少更是 第一次聽到「過來人」的現身說法,深受感動, 活動加強社區人士對吸毒問題的認知及對戒毒 康復者的接納。 青衛谷預防犯罪教育中心 中心特設模擬監倉、迷宮、 Playmotion 等獨有設 施,以體驗式活動手法提供不同主題的預防犯 罪教育日營。除一般中、小學外,中心更會按 個別團體對象的需要,設計活動內容,對象包 括︰少數族裔學生、特殊學習需要學生、高危青 少年、澳門的青少年。另外,中心的設施亦適合 舉 親子日營,讓父母與子女透過一連串的體 驗活動,加深對彼此的了解,增強親子溝通。 二零一七至二零一八年度,中心繼續與業界 4 間 機構,包括長者安居協會、香港紅十字會、基 督教香港信義會及惜食堂,聯合組成「加聯盟」 (Adding Alliance) ,並合辦「老師體驗日」,向老師 推廣「體驗式學習」,讓更多學生能夠受惠於「體 驗式學習」的成效。 In order to share the writing process and the rehabilitation process of drug abusers with readers, the “Cocoon Angels” Book Launch Ceremony cum “Drug Taking and Quitting in Female: Cause & Consequence” Survey was conducted on 12th November 2017 in The Commercial Press in Tsim Sha Tsui. The readers filled up the venue, and many of them ever heard the sharing of a drug abuser and were deeply impressed. The activity indeed strengthened the community awareness of female drug abuse problem and appealed to social acceptance on drug abusers. TeenGuard Valley Crime Prevention Education Centre (TGV) Equipping with unique facilities, such as mock jail, maze and Playmotion, TGV offered diversified experiential and drama activities for children and adolescents. In addition to the primary and secondary schools, TGV also offered tailor-made activities according to the needs of individual groups, such as, ethnic minority students, students with special education needs, high-risk youth, young people from Macau. Furthermore, the Centre’s facilities are also suitable for parent-child programmes, which could deepen mutual understanding between parents and children and improve the communication through a series of experiential activities. In 2017/2018, TGV continued to join hands with 4 organisations to form “Adding Alliance”, including Senior Citizen Home Safety Association, Hong Kong Red Cross, The Evangelical Lutheran Church of Hong Kong and Food Angel. In order to promote experiential learning to schools, “Teacher Experience Day” was co-hosted with the partnering organisations. | 88 |
