學生擔任律師角色,於模擬法庭比賽中發揮團隊精神。 Student lawyers displayed their team spirits in the Mock Trial Competition. 參加者以陪審員身份重新思考「三隻小豬」故事。 Participants rethought about the case of “The three little pigs” to make final verdict as jury. 此外,多間海外及內地機構亦到訪中心,互相 交流,包括來自美國的 Oakland University 、新加 坡的 Ngee Ann Polytechnic 、 Singapore Corporation of Rehabilitative Enterprise ,以及澳門明愛、澳門 政府社會工作局預防藥物濫用處、澳門青年聯 合會、北京超越青少年社工事務所、救助兒童 會中國項目、友善社會服務中心、深圳司法局及 恵州市啟明星社工服務中心。 模擬法庭.公義教育計劃 2017–2018 「模擬法庭.公義教育計劃」為青少年提供多元 化的法治及公義教育活動,計劃至今踏入十週 年。二零一七年七月五日,由民政事務局青年事 務委員會、廣正心嚴慈善基金及香港律師會贊 助,「講.港.法治」青年研討會假九龍灣國際 展貿中心舉行,吸引 500 多名參加者出席。研討 會包括主題演講、多個專題分享、論壇,以及 不同的體驗活動及攤位,讓學生有機會與不同 界別的專業人士交流,包括:法律界專業人士、 大學教授及傳媒工作者,從多角度認識法治與 守法。 二零一七至二零一八年度,計劃繼續獲香港律師 會資助,共有 28 間中學派出學生參加,逾 100 名 社區義工及 70 名專業法律人士協助推行。學生 接受法律導師的專業訓練後,會到高等法院進 行模擬法庭比賽,透過擔任律師、証人、陪審 員,從中了解司法程序、刑責後果及法治的重 要。此外,保安局禁毒處及禁毒常務委員會連 續第三年以「禁毒盃」形式支持是項計劃,學生 組成的「公義智囊團」在庭上以不同形式演繹毒 品禍害及促進觀賽同學多角度反思毒品議題。 Also, various overseas and mainland institutions visited TGV this year to know more about TGV’s innovative services. They are from Oakland University (USA), Ngee Ann Polytechnic (Singapore), Singapore Corporation of Rehabilitative Enterprise, Caritas Macau, Instituto De Accao Social (Macau), Macao Youth Federation, Beijing Chaoyue Teenager Social Worker Office, Save the Children (China), Youshan Social Service Center (China), Bureau of Justice of Shenzhen Municipality, Huizhoushi Qimingxing Social Worker Service Center. Mock Trial Justice Education Project 2017–2018 Mock Trial Justice Education Project strives for providing rule of law and justice education to adolescents, and has been implemented for 10 years. On 5th July 2017, funded by Commission on Youth of Home Affairs Bureau, Mama Charitable Foundation, The Law Society of Hong Kong, a large-scale Youth Conference on law abidance and rule of law was organised in Kowloon Bay International Trade & Exhibition Centre, drawing over 500 participants. The conference comprised of keynote speeches, parallel sessions, forum, experiential activities and education booths, which aimed at giving participants with interactive experiences to acquire more perspectives from different professionals (e.g. legal professionals, professors, and journalists) in the context. In 2017/2018, the Project continue supported by The Law Society of Hong Kong, students were nominated by 28 secondary schools and the course of Project was assisted by over 100 community volunteers and 70 legal professionals. Students would be given intensive training that instructed by legal professional coaches, followed by a Mock Trial Competition taken place in High Court. Students could take up the role as prosecutor, defense counsel, witness and jury. By doing so, they were equipped with better knowledge in judicial procedures, consequences of committing crime as well as the importance of rule of law. In addition, with the full support from Narcotics Division of Security Bureau and the Action Committee Against Narcotics, this year is the third “Narcotics Cup” to promote anti-drug messages. Students formed a think tank to reflect on drug-related issues and to present the harms of drug abuse in Court. | 89 |
