70 年度重點 Highlights of the Year 為家長和照顧者提供服務 家庭對青少年的成長,具有深遠的影響。故本 計劃加入非華裔高危青少年及隱蔽吸毒人士之 家長或照顧者為服務對象,以提升他們的管教 技巧,更易辨識家人染上毒癮,以及加強預防 吸毒、及早求助的意識,從而減低青少年吸毒 的風險。 本計劃重視朋輩的參與,他們除了可以協助仍 以少數族裔語言為母語的家長和照顧者外,亦 能以父母和過來人的身份分享經驗,提供解決 問題的技巧與方法 Providing Parental Skills to Parents or Caregivers Family is one of the biggest factors to affect the growth of the youths. Hence, the parents or caregivers of the at-risk non- Chinese ethnic youths and hidden drug abusers are the new service targets in Project Empathy, with the aim of enhancing their parental skills, strengthening the abilities to identify drug abusers among family members and raising the awareness of drug abuse prevention and seeking early assistance in case of need. Our project emphasises the participation of peer supporters. They help to explain the information to parents or caregivers who are still using ethnic minority language. Apart from this, they share more practical skills and solutions of handling the at-risk non- Chinese ethnic youths. 計劃藉聖誕節為非華裔家庭舉辦親子活動。除了一同感受節 日氣氛外,朋輩輔導員透過遊戲、經驗分享和個別傾談了解 家庭情況,讓家長和青少年學習正確的管教和溝通技巧,從 而改善親子關係。 Family activities were organised at Christmas. Not only for sharing the happiness and celebrating the Christmas, our peer supporters shared parental tips and communication skills to both of youths and parents in order to improve parent-child relationship. 本計劃的朋輩輔導員正向非華裔高危青少年的家長及照顧者 提供講座。內容包括機構和服務簡介、家長管教技巧及青少 年接觸毒品的趨勢,以提升家長及早識別和處理青少年吸毒 問題的能力。 Our Peer supporters provided a talk for the parents and caregivers of at-risk non-Chinese ethnic youths. They introduced our service, provided basic parenting tips and shared the trend of drug abuse among non-chinese ethnic youths in Hong Kong, with an aim to enhance their abilities of handling drug problem in their family.
