1. Go to the SideBySide Flag Day website (https://flagday.sidebyside.org.hk) and select "Flag Day Volunteer Registration" on the homepage.
2) Choose your volunteer form (individual or organisation).
If selecting individual volunteer, enter the required information, including name, contact phone number, age (volunteers under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult, please fill in the parent information in the "Accompanying Volunteer" section in step 3), and email address.
If selecting organisation volunteer , enter the required information, including the name of the group, the number of flag bags required, the number of participants under and over 14 years old, and the name, contact phone number, age, and email address of the contact person.
3) After completing the form, click the "Confirm" button.
4) Select three proposed flag selling areas according to your personal preference. The first area clicked will be the first choice, the second area clicked will be the second choice, and so on.
5) After completing the selection, click the "Confirm" button at the bottom of the list of locations.
6) If you need to make changes to your selection, click the "Reset" button, and then reselect the proposed flag selling areas using the method shown in step 4. After completing the selection, click the "Confirm" button.
7) If you have accompanying volunteers, click the "+" button, enter the information for the accompanying volunteers (up to 3 people), and then click the "Confirm" button. Then choose the contact method and certificate collection method.
8) If you do not have accompanying volunteers, simply choose the contact method and certificate collection method.
9) Click the blue text to open the "Privacy Policy" page, read it carefully, and then check the box.
10) After completing the above steps, click the "Submit Application" button.
11) The "Confirm Information" window will automatically pop up. After checking that the information is correct, select the "I'm not a robot" checkbox, and then click the "Confirm" button that appears below.
12) If you need to modify the information, click the "X" button in the upper right corner of the window to return to the registration page. After modifying the information, follow the above steps to resubmit the application.
13) Congratulations! You have successfully registered as a street flag day volunteer. You will receive a confirmation email, and SideBySide staff will contact you in mid-July 2023 regarding the distribution of flag bags.
