Award Scheme Service Introduction:
"Buddies Hub" – peer support for hidden drug abusers
This program helps drug abusers transform their identity by cultivating peer supporters and their family members or important members and mobilizing social resources. The ultimate goal is to get rid of drugs, transform and integrate into society. Community connection is very important for rehabilitated drug abusers. Through community sharing and volunteer services, service users believe their contributions and changes can move others. We aim to enhance community acceptance of rehabilitated persons.
Health Education Service – Mercury 3 "Liver Project"
Syringe injectors are a high-risk group for hepatitis C infection. This project aims to strengthen intervention and follow-up services, provide service users with treatment information, accompanying services, peer counselling and emotional support services. Besides, we ensure they can carry out follow-up consultations, control the disease, complete the entire treatment, and improve their health. With the cooperation model of "government, private and business participation", we will invite various stakeholders to support the disadvantaged groups and build social capital.
"The Three of Us" Scheme
A strong community support network consisting of CSD clinical psychologists, release supervisors, caseworkers, project social workers and community volunteers. Through a close collaboration platform, the entire support team can walk with ex-offenders, so that service users in need can safely and freely blend into the community.
